Draft and Suzumebachi

Ok, these are my first DRAFTS of tsubas for the swords that I'm going to make later on this year. I cant start them yet because 1) I am still in the drafting process and 2) Its for a school project and I cant start it until March/April.
I will make more finalized drafts later (no erase marks, etc)
I am new to the swordmaking area so this is a first for me. I do have woodworking skills so I think it wont be that hard for me. Any ideas or tips that people can give me are most welcome!

Right: This is just a draft of a tsuba that I did while I was bored and I kinda liked it. Now that I look at it, it sort of reminds me of a butterfly...but thats just me.

Left: This is the tsuba of Soi Fong's zanpaktou, Suzumebachi, that I drafted from the Anime Bleach. I only had 2 pictures and they were basically of the same view, so if anyone has read the manga or seen the anime, any details/ideas would be welcome so I can make it more complete. Its a little big but that might be me. I might end up making it shorter and making the blade the traditional size of 30mm instead of 35mm. But like I said, Im still in the drafting process.
